From "Powers and fearlessnesses" to "wisdom": fifth, explaining the place of awakening in terms of fruition virtues. "The powers, fearlessnesses, and unshared dharmas are the place of awakening": the bodhisattva of the initial mind accomplishes the ten kinds of wisdom powers, as spoken in the Avataṃsaka; this is contemplating the one true truth, able to destroy fundamental ignorance and attain the true dharmas of the powers, fearlessnesses, and unshared [virtues]; this is the place of awakening. Possessing the powers, fearlessnesses, and unshared dharmas, their own practice is without lapse and their conversion of others is appropriate; this is being free from all faults. "The three clarities are the place of awakening": the bodhisattva of the initial mind immediately attains the three clarities and thoroughly penetrates the phenomena and principles of the three times without hindrance; knowing all dharmas in a single thought is the place of awakening. When the bodhisattva of the initial mind sees the principle of the Middle Way, they can doubly illuminate the two truths, destroy the fundamental ignorance of the dharma-realm, and true wisdom manifests; this is the place of awakening. When the initial mind's all-aspect omniscience is accomplished, one is also a buddha.
