四、二土佛行化，二：初、懸談義旨，三：初、總示來意。二、「然機」下，別明起教，二：初、明二土起教，二：初、明別對二土。二、「今但」下，起教互通，三：初、敘別略斥。「未必全爾」者，未必穢土定用音聲、淨土定用香味也。

Fourth, the Buddhas of the two lands conducting teaching and transformation, in two parts: first, discussing the meaning in advance, in three parts: first, generally showing the purpose of its placement; second, from 'However, capacities' onward, specifically clarifying the arising of teachings, in two parts: first, clarifying the arising of teachings in the two lands, in two parts: first, clarifying the specific correspondence to the two lands; second, from 'Now only' onward, the mutual interpenetration of the arising of teachings, in three parts: first, stating the distinction and briefly dismissing it. 'Not necessarily entirely so' means: it is not necessarily the case that the defiled land definitely uses sound and the pure land definitely uses fragrance and taste.
