二、「就歎」下，隨文釋義。初、歎法，二：初、分科顯實。「非法無以成人」者，由悟實而成聖，故非人無以顯法，故人有神用方顯法勝。二、「百千」下，隨文正釋。「覺心所護」者，即是佛護也。「八魔十魔」，如前記。「吾助爾喜」者，爾，汝也。

Second, under "Regarding the praise," explaining the meaning following the text. First, praising the Dharma, which has two [parts]: first, subdividing the section to reveal true [reality]. As for "without the Dharma there is nothing by which to perfect persons," it is because of awakening to true reality that one becomes a sage; thus without persons there is nothing by which to reveal the Dharma, and so it is only when persons possess spiritual functioning that the superiority of the Dharma is revealed. Second, under "Hundreds of thousands," directly explaining following the text. "Protected by the awakened mind" means being protected by the Buddha. The "eight māras and ten māras" are as in the previous record. In "I rejoice with you," *er* (爾) means you (汝).
