二、明如來種，二：初、敘意分科。荊溪云：此二大士等者，更相問答，正當二槌更扣之相。

Second, explaining the Tathāgata-seed, which has two parts: first, narrating the intent and dividing into sections. Jingxi says: Regarding "These two Great Beings..." and so forth: mutually asking and answering corresponds precisely to the manner of two mallets striking each other.
