二、隨文釋義，五：初、淨名問。二、文殊答，二：初、懸談義旨，二：初、略示。二、「言如」下，廣釋，二：初、正解如來種，二：初、引論總明。荊溪云：如法相解等者，如彼非道即是佛道，法相生解還依彼說，方稱如來。能依此觀，即如來行。是故引之通於說行。

Second, explaining the meaning according to the text, which has five parts: first, Jingming's question. Second, Mañjuśrī's answer, which has two parts: first, an overarching discussion of the doctrinal purport, which has two parts: first, showing it briefly. Second, under "Speaking of such..." explaining extensively, which has two parts: first, correctly explaining the Tathāgata-seed, which has two parts: first, citing a treatise to explain generally. Jingxi says: Regarding "Understanding in accord with the characteristics of phenomena" and so forth: like those non-paths being precisely the Buddha-path, understanding generated from the characteristics of phenomena also relies on that explanation to match the Tathāgata. Being able to rely on this contemplation is precisely the practice of the Tathāgata. Therefore it is cited to extend to both explanation and practice.
