二、明三藏亦得。三、明小乘無分。荊溪云：凡云持者，一者一攝一切，二者生不失。小教無此，故不合論。

Second, explaining that the Tripiṭaka [teaching] also attains it. Third, explaining that the Hīnayāna has no share in it. Jingxi says: Whenever one speaks of "retaining," first, one includes all, and second, it is not lost across rebirths. The lesser teaching does not have this; therefore, it is not fitting to discuss it.
