三、隣果歎德，二：初、總別分科。二、「一總」下，隨文釋義，三：初、歎自行，二：初、歎智德，二：初、總，二：初、約佛理釋無等等義，二：初、約佛釋。「無與等者」者，超因人故。「今等諸佛」者，此明極果彼彼相等，而後心菩薩近之。今且釋無等等義，近義在下約位顯之。

Third, praising virtue as bordering on the fruit [of Buddhahood], divided into two: first, dividing into general and specific outlines; second, from "First, general" downward, explaining the meaning following the text, which has three parts: first, praising one's own practice, which has two parts: first, praising the virtue of wisdom, which has two parts: first, general, which has two parts: first, explaining the meaning of "peerless" in terms of the Buddha's principle, which has two parts: first, explaining it in terms of the Buddha. Regarding "none are equal to him": because he transcends persons on the causal [stage]. Regarding "now equal to the Buddhas": this clarifies that within the ultimate fruit they are mutually equal, and the bodhisattva of the final mind draws near to it. Here it temporarily explains the meaning of "peerless"; the meaning of "near" is revealed below in terms of stage.
