二、別釋。即約教也，二：初、正釋。「別立名教」者，暹云：《毘曇》中立十力名與《大論》同。若說十八不共法，但以四無畏、大悲、三念，加十力為十八法。所以《大論》破之。「今但」下，荊溪云：名同義異，依諦不同。此約四教以明分得，仍顯無等等義。向云傳作可知，蓋見此矣。

Second, specific explanation. That is, in terms of the teachings, divided into two: first, direct explanation. Regarding "separately establishing name and teaching," [Dao]xian says: In the Abhidharma, the names of the ten powers established are the same as in the Da zhidu lun. When speaking of the eighteen unshared dharmas, it merely adds the four fearlessnesses, great compassion, and the three applications of mindfulness to the ten powers to make eighteen dharmas. Therefore the Da zhidu lun refutes it. From "Now only" downward, Jingxi says: The names are the same but the meanings differ, because they rely on different truths. This clarifies the partial attainment in terms of the four teachings, still revealing the meaning of "peerless." The earlier statement that "it could be known by applying them successively" was indeed seeing this.
