二、「一明」下，隨釋，三：初、聲聞，二：初、通釋。「胡越」者，胡在北、越在南。《文選》古詩云「胡馬嘶北風，越鳥巢南枝。」王弼曰「同舟而濟，胡越何患於異心。」

Second, from "First, clarifying..." downward, explaining in sequence, in three: first, śrāvakas, in two: first, general explanation. As for "Hu and Yue," Hu is in the north and Yue is in the south. An ancient poem in the *Wen Xuan* says: "The Hu horse neighs in the north wind; the Yue bird nests on the southern branch." Wang Bi says: "Crossing in the same boat, why should Hu and Yue worry about having different minds?"
