二、判位，二：初、敘古，三：初、正敘。荊溪云：南北二釋，未見本文。什師雖云從下至上漸漸轉勝，諸句未必後勝於前。二、「解既」下，研詳。「北方」下，此師準《地持》中以十度對十地，故以今文七度以對七地。三、「若欲」下，斥破。

Second, determining the stages, in two parts: first, recounting the ancients, in three parts: first, direct recounting. Jingxi says: regarding the two explanations of the North and the South, the original texts have not been seen. Although Master Kumārajīva said that from below to above they gradually become ever more superior, the various lines are not necessarily superior in the latter compared to the former. Second, from "Since the understanding" onwards, examining closely. From "The northern" onwards: this master, based on the Bodhisattvabhūmi, correlates the ten perfections with the ten grounds, and thus correlates the seven perfections in the present text with the seven grounds.
