二、釋總持，二：初總釋。二、「法華」下，別釋，二：初、引經示義。荊溪云：三陀羅尼一一簡之，皆令離別。「法音」有二釋：初、內證。「又法」下，次約外用。「得此」下，由三互融，故名無礙。

Second, explaining dhāraṇī, in two: first, general explanation. Second, from "Lotus Sūtra" below, specific explanation, in two: first, citing sūtras to indicate the meaning. Jingxi says: Analytically distinguishing each of the three dhāraṇīs, one makes them all distinct. "Dharma sound" has two explanations: first, internal realization. From "Furthermore, Dharma" below, next in terms of external function. From "Attaining this" below, because the three mutually interpenetrate, it is therefore called unimpeded.
