二、釋妨，二：初、問。「後時」者，荊溪云：將於長爪及以身子得道之時，望佛初坐樹下之日，所以長爪却在後時。

Second, resolving an objection, [which has] two [parts]: First, the question. Regarding "At a later time": Jingxi says: taking the time when Dīrghanakha and Śāriputra attained the Way in comparison to the day the Buddha first sat beneath the tree; therefore Dīrghanakha was at a later time.
