Fourth, resolving the objection that tallies fulfilling the pure land is not distinct in meaning, in two parts: First, raising the objection. Second, answering and resolving, in two parts: First, overall marking. "All have this meaning": Jingxi states: As in the three meanings in the question, Jingming's single reproach possesses those three principles, and even down to the nine chapters, the intent is also like this. Furthermore, from beginning to end, Jingming completely fulfills the three meanings; therefore, from the Lotus Sūtra downward, the meaning brings out these three. Second, from "As…" downward, distinct indication, in three parts: First, indicating Jingming's accord and fulfillment. Jingxi states: First citing the Lotus Sūtra brings up the Buddha himself purifying the Buddha land and maturing sentient beings, maturing sentient beings endlessly. Since the transforming lord is like this, it encourages those below. From "This category…" downward, directly clarifying that Jingming merely tallies with and fulfills the Tathāgata's pure land. Second, from "Jingming…" downward, indicating Jingming's self-purification. Third, from "Disciples…" downward, indicating the purification by disciples and others. "Disciples and bodhisattvas": Jingxi states: Disciples refers to the "Disciples" chapter, and bodhisattvas refers to the "Bodhisattvas" chapter.
