二、竪對四土，二：初、標示。「竪對」者，荊溪云：隨其土體對惑增減，得有諸土多少不同，故名為竪。

Second, vertically correlating with the four lands, in two [parts]: First, indication. Regarding "vertically correlating," Jingxi says: Depending on the essence of the land, correlated with the increase or decrease of delusions, there come to be varying numbers of lands; therefore, it is called "vertical."
