問：過去已去、未來未至，云何惱？答：惱雖過未，境實現在，與相值則生於惱。及過去曾惱於我，記憶在心。

Question: "The past has already gone, and the future has not yet arrived; how can they cause vexation?" Answer: "Although vexation pertains to the past and future, the objects are actually present; encountering their signs, one then gives rise to vexation. Also, having been vexed by them in the past, one remembers it in mind."
