Fourth, clarifying non-self, in two [parts]: first, dividing the sections and resolving doubts, which has two: first, dividing the sections; second, resolving doubts, which has two: first, resolving doubts in contrast with emptiness, which has two: first, question; second, answer. Regarding "two kinds of emptiness," breaking the provisional designation yields the emptiness of persons; breaking real dharmas yields the emptiness of dharmas. Regarding "three kinds of non-self," Jingxi states: the non-self of sentient beings, the non-self of dharmas, and the non-self of equality. The non-self of equality is the emptiness of the ultimate truth, fully as in the subsequent text of the 'Contemplating Sentient Beings' chapter; being replete with the three emptinesses is the three kinds of non-self.
