二、「菩薩」下，正約修道，二：初、顯功示位。荊溪云：菩薩若入等者，且約當教近意通菩薩也，若遠論者亦助別圓。

Second, from "bodhisattvas" downward, directly in terms of the path of cultivation, in two: first, revealing the efficacy and showing the rank. Jingxi states: regarding "if a bodhisattva enters," and so forth, this provisionally refers to the bodhisattva of the Common [Teaching] according to the immediate meaning of the present teaching; if discussed comprehensively, it also aids the Distinct and Perfect [Teachings].
