二、為令四眾捨小慕大，二：初、正為小乘。「捨受持衣」等者，彼經三百比丘聞般若已，皆以僧伽梨而用供養。論中或云亡相，或云當日更得。二、「亦通」下，旁開四眾。「開發四眾」者，非獨為小乘比丘也。

Second, to cause the fourfold assembly to abandon the small and admire the great, which has two parts: first, directly for the Hinayana. Regarding "abandoning the robes received and held, etc.," in that sūtra, after hearing prajñā, three hundred monks all used their saṃghāṭīs as offerings. In the treatises it is said either that they lost their marks, or that they obtained them again on the same day. Second, from "also extending" down, by extension opening to the fourfold assembly. Regarding "developing the fourfold assembly," it is not solely for the Hinayana monks.
