二、約根境識解。荊溪云：若十八界等者，內根、外塵、中間識也。此十八界從緣而生，尚自不實，何以更能保罪心耶？

Second, explaining in terms of faculties, objects, and consciousness. Jingxi says: "Regarding 'If the eighteen realms' and so on: internal faculties, external dusts, and consciousness in between. These eighteen realms arise from conditions and are already inherently unreal; how could they still sustain the mind of transgression?"
