三、為解釋，二：初、正明三句，三：初、約心境解。荊溪云：彼罪性等四句推者，本推於共，具如《止觀》等諸文所明。

Third, providing explanations, in two parts: first, directly clarifying the three clauses, in three parts: first, explaining in terms of mind and objects. Jingxi says: "The investigation by the four clauses regarding the nature of those transgressions and so on originally investigated shared [origination], fully as clarified in various passages of the Great Cessation and Contemplation and other works."
