二、「復次」下，通破二家。荊溪云：復次下通約二家所計以斥彌勒，此約計三世心而為破也。以二家所計雖有去取，不出三世此破。「二世無也」者，此四字合在前科之末，在此誤也。

Second, from "Furthermore..." downward commonly refutes the two schools. Jingxi says: From "Furthermore" downward, it commonly refutes Maitreya according to the tenets of both schools; this is a refutation based on their conceptualization of the mind across the three periods of time. Because although the tenets of the two schools differ in what they accept and reject, they do not go beyond the three periods of time, which this refutes. Regarding "two periods of time do not exist": These four characters should properly be at the end of the preceding section; here they are an error.
