二、廣，二：初、標示分科。荊溪云：少說斷者，菩提名智。今釋菩提不多言斷，故初九中但有二斷，由少復雜故不分章。所以有者，欲明圓文智斷不二。

Second, extensive, in two [parts]: First, marking and dividing the sections. Jingxi says: Explaining severance sparingly is because bodhi is named wisdom. Now, explaining bodhi does not speak much of severance; therefore, among the initial nine there are only two severances, and because they are few and mixed, they are not divided into separate chapters. The reason they are present is to clarify that in the text of the Perfect [teaching], wisdom and severance are non-dual.
