五、光嚴重問，二：初、正明道場，二：初、約事總釋。穬，穀芒也。「治除」下，心惑合穬，糠實相合米。二、約教別釋。「虛空蓮華為座」者，秖寄別教成道處說。以圓成佛亦無別處，故云猶是。

Fifth, Prabhāvyūha asking again, which has two [parts]: first, directly clarifying the place of enlightenment, which has two [parts]: first, generally explaining in terms of phenomena. "Awn" (穬) means the chaff-bristle of grain. Under "purging and removing": the mind's delusions correspond to the awn, and the true reality of the husks corresponds to the rice grains. Second, distinctively explaining in terms of the teachings. Regarding "having the space-like lotus blossom as a seat": this is merely spoken by drawing on the place of attaining the path in the separate teaching. Because attaining Buddhahood in the perfect [teaching] also has no other place, it says "it is still this."
