二、體相續假。荊溪云：以顯迅速者，幼猶似住。三、體相待假。「待有二種」者，荊溪云：異時竪待也，同時橫待也，相待之文皆具此二待。前無後有故豎，待三無為故橫。

Second, embodying provisionality through continuity. Jingxi says: "To reveal swiftness, youth still seems to abide." Third, embodying provisionality through relativity. Regarding "Relativity is of two kinds", Jingxi says: "Temporal vertical relativity, and simultaneous horizontal relativity; passages on relativity always possess these two relativities. Nonexistence before and existence after constitutes the vertical; relativity to the three unconditioned states constitutes the horizontal."
