七、簡涅槃異名。問中先引偈。次「若爾」下正問答者，荊溪云：意明何但名異義同，論部亦得有同有異。部異理等於義不失，何況但是異名而已。

Seventh, examining the different names of the Nirvāṇa. In the question, it first cites the verse. Next, from 'If so' onward is the direct question and answer. Jingxi says: The intent makes clear: how could it only be that different names have the same meaning? In terms of texts, there can also be identity and difference. The texts differ but the principle is equal, so nothing is lost in meaning; how much more so when it is merely different names?
