二、釋《寶性論》不明疑。「二處不殊」者，於鹿苑後俱談圓頓。「故二酥之別」者，此約從鹿苑次第入者以說。其新入者於此乃酪，於大品乃生酥；其利根者則頓入法界則成醍醐，並如前說。故知五時次第是約一番機緣而說，故於諸文並指五人最初稟小。

Second, resolving doubts regarding what is not clarified in the Ratnagotravibhāga. "Not different in the two places" means that after the Deer Park, both [occasions] expound the perfect and sudden. "Hence the distinction between the two curds" is stated with reference to those who enter sequentially from the Deer Park. Those newly entering find [the teaching] here to be cheese, and in the Pañcaviṃśatisāhasrikā it is raw curd; those of sharp faculties enter the dharmadhātu suddenly, which then becomes clarified butter—all as explained before. Therefore, one knows that the sequence of the five periods is explained with reference to a single round of audience capacities, and for this reason the texts all point to the five people initially receiving the Hinayana.
