三、「眾生」下、約機應結示，二：初、明體性一如。二、「以三」下，明隨機起應。眾生迷性起惑，菩薩遂往應之。

Third, under "sentient beings," concluding and indicating in terms of capacity and response, which has two parts: first, clarifying that substance and nature are identical as suchness. Second, under "by means of the three," clarifying the arising of response in accordance with capacities. Sentient beings are deluded about their nature and give rise to afflictions; the bodhisattva thereupon goes to respond to them.
