二、「如螺」下，引證釋成，二：初、引證示義。荊溪云：如螺髻等者，舉淺況深。淺尚相在，況復深耶？故云等者，且寄相在以表相即，故將相即酬前問於有無之旨。

Second, under "like Śikhin," citing proof to explain and establish, which has two parts: first, citing proof to indicate the meaning. Jingxi states: Regarding 'like Śikhin,' it uses the shallow to illustrate the deep. If even the shallow contain each other, how much more so the deep? Therefore, saying 'and so on' provisionally relies on containing each other to express mutual identity; thus mutual identity is used to respond to the previous question regarding the purport of presence and absence.
