三、料簡，二：初、問。荊溪云：作此問者以土望人，其人既猶有實疾，何能自於無障礙中現等覺地之權疾耶。二、答，二：初、總貴。荊溪云：先以本迹高下四句不可測答。然若云淨名本是金粟如來者，則是本高迹下，豈不能現實報權疾耶？

Jingxi says: The one who poses this question views the person from the standpoint of the land: since this person still has real illness, how can he, within the unhindered, manifest the provisional illness of the stage of equal enlightenment? Second, the answer, in two: first, a general appraisal. Jingxi says: First answering through the four propositions of high and low in fundamental and trace being unfathomable. However, if one says that Jingming's fundamental is Jinshu Tathāgata, then his fundamental is high and his trace is low; how could he not be able to manifest the provisional illness of Real Reward?
