Fourth, clarifying that the six chapters arise due to the illness, in two: first, clarifying that the chapters exist due to the illness, in two: first, directly showing. Regarding "the six chapters all come from... therefore exist," this means that because the illness is a provisional illness, it truly gives rise to the various chapters. Regarding "should be like tallies and contracts," the *Wenxin Diaolong* states: "Tallies (fu) mean trust (fu)." When issuing summonses and guarding against falsification, matters depend on inner trust. The jade emblems of the Three Dynasties, the gold and bamboo of the Han era, and later generations in pursuit of concision replaced them with letters and documents. "Contracts (qi) mean bonds (jie)." In high antiquity of pure simplicity, cords were knotted and tallies held. Here we say that entering the text and matching the commentary agrees with this; hence they are like tallies and contracts.
