二、料簡，二：初、約來見問。二、以眼智答，二：初、分對引。荊溪云：答意者，先分別是；次引《法華》二文者意，明知見必不相離，不同三教知見相別。

II. Critical analysis, in two: first, questioning regarding coming and seeing; second, answering with eye and wisdom, in two: first, distinguishing the correspondences and citing. Jingxi says: The meaning of the answer: first distinguish them correctly; next, citing two passages from the Lotus Sūtra intends to clarify that knowing and seeing are definitely not separate from each other, unlike the separation of knowing and seeing in the three teachings.
