Commentary: Below is the instruction not to give rise to thoughts of inferiority regarding the realm. First is the statement, and later is the explanation. This is the first part. The Realm of Wonderful Fragrance is composed of precious jewels and fragrances; this land is an impure place, truly inferior. There are two kinds of obstacles: first, giving rise to thoughts of inferiority regarding the world, conceiving a lowly mind, not respecting that Buddha, not delivering those sentient beings, and thus creating an obstacle for oneself; second, giving rise to thoughts of inferiority regarding the world, conceiving a base mind, not working to transform and deliver them, and thus creating obstacles for these sentient beings.
