Third, from "For example" below, citing the treatise's category of immeasurable minds, in two parts: first, citing the category; second, from "In accordance with this" below, interpreting accordingly, in three parts: first, clarifying that the truth of the middle is immeasurable. The treatise clarifies the four immeasurables, namely loving-kindness, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity; from the perspective of the mind they are called equal/immeasurable, and from the perspective of the object they are called immeasurable; these take sentient beings as their condition. Depending on the extent and breadth of their object, they obtain three levels of names: broad, great, and immeasurable. Now, analogizing with that explanation, three names are established in terms of the true, conventional, and middle. When the sūtra shows roaming in the immeasurable Dharma-nature, it reveals the principle of the perfect interfusion of the Middle Way, not merely the true of emptiness and the conventional of provisionality.
