二、「此一」下，揀示。指敘宗文名此一句，義雖種種不出於三，謂體、宗、用。正雖敘宗，宗必冥體，體必起用，是故此句不可獨釋。四德如後。

Second, from "this one..." onward, discriminating and indicating. Pointing to the passage stating the central doctrine, it names this one phrase. Although its meanings are diverse, they do not go beyond three: essence, central doctrine, and function. While properly stating the central doctrine, the central doctrine must merge with the essence, and the essence must give rise to function; therefore, this phrase cannot be explained in isolation. The four virtues will be discussed later.
