二、「上觀」下，觀心釋。圓論理戒，豈不觀心？但為前文是約教釋，正為開解。今撮五戒人一念心成於圓觀，正為立行即聞而修。修發之門，說者應授；若不爾者，數寶何為？分二：

Second, from "Contemplating the above" onward, the explanation of contemplating the mind. When discussing the precepts of principle in the perfect [teaching], how could one not contemplate the mind? It is only that the preceding text was an explanation according to doctrinal teachings, primarily to open understanding. Now, condensing the five precepts into a single thought of the mind of a human being completes the perfect contemplation, primarily to establish practice so that one cultivates upon hearing. The gates of cultivating and developing should be imparted by the expounder; if not, what is the point of counting another's treasures? Divided into two:
