二、「此」下，釋。星等乃是業之前相，表於責報故屬業障；今示作業體，下明宿業相，若論作起時，豈非心色？

Second, from "These" below, he explains. The stars and so forth are preliminary signs of karma, indicating the retribution demanded, and therefore belong to karmic obstacles. Here he shows the essence of committing karma, while below he clarifies the signs of past karma. When discussing the time of their arising, how could they not be mind and form?
