二、「今」下，約行可期。三業雖近、三德雖遠，修得規矩，即近成遠。規圓矩方，《孟子》曰「大匠訓人，必以規矩。」

Second, from "Now" below, [the goal] can be anticipated through practice. Although the three actions are near at hand and the three virtues are far away, if one cultivates according to the compass and square, then what is near becomes what is far. The compass makes circles and the square makes right angles; *Mencius* states: "When a master craftsman instructs people, he must use the compass and square."
