四、「檀忍」下，例應施肉，論但三學及所顯理。大師義加檀忍進三，成六度義，以消今經骨髓血肉，義方整足。說者應例前之三學明雙非相。

Fourth, from "giving, forbearance" down, by analogy, this should be giving flesh. The treatise (*Dàzhìdù lùn*) only has the three trainings and the principle they reveal. The Great Master deliberately added the three of giving, forbearance, and diligence to complete the meaning of the six perfections, thereby explaining the bone, marrow, blood, and flesh of the present sūtra so that the meaning would be fully balanced. An expositor should model this on the preceding three trainings and clarify the mark of transcending both.
