4.184

初、明聲聞。若望因緣，乃以七支總為一苦，仍以五支總為一集。又復苦集不分過未，總是現在。以根鈍故，法相總略。

First, clarifying the Śrāvaka. If viewed in relation to conditioned arising, they take the seven links collectively as one suffering, and further take the five links collectively as one origination. Moreover, suffering and origination do not distinguish past and future; all are present. Because their faculties are dull, the dharma-characteristics are collective and summary.
