二、明支佛。開聲聞總成別相。現在五者，謂識、名色、六入、觸、受。未來二者，謂生、老死，別相苦也。過去二者，謂無明、行。現在三者，謂愛、取、有，別相集也。又開三世不唯現在，故云略果，及略因由中可比三。是則三世皆有十二，以福資智，故能別觀。

Second, clarifying the Pratyekabuddha. They unfold the summary of the Śrāvaka into distinctive aspects: the five of the present are consciousness, name-and-form, the six sense bases, contact, and sensation; the two of the future are birth, and old age and death—these are distinctive aspects of suffering. The two of the past are ignorance and karmic formations; the three of the present are craving, grasping, and becoming—these are distinctive aspects of origination. Furthermore, unfolding the three times is not merely the present; hence it says 'abbreviated fruit' and 'abbreviated cause', through which one can infer the three [times]. Thus, all three times possess the twelve [links]; because merit aids wisdom, they are able to contemplate distinctively.
