4.223

初、指釋。謂指經文中上下釋三法相。假想指上、餘二指下，上下皆是不思議境，故皆指為所如之法。

First, indicating and explaining. This means pointing to the text of the sūtra above and below to explain the marks of the three dharmas. "Provisional conception" points to the above, and the other two point to the below; both above and below are inconceivable objects, so both are pointed to as the dharmas that are "thus."
