Third, from "Ignorance..." onward, clarifying the contemplation of provisionality with reference to the fourth line, which has two parts: first, both established due to delusion, which has two parts: first, directly explaining, which has two parts: first, directly explaining with reference to phenomena and principle. Although all dharmas are originally empty and quiescent in their nature, due to possessing inherent defilement, phenomenal defilement arises; due to destroying phenomenal defilement, empty wisdom is established; wishing to forget defilement and purity, the directly middle is established. These medicines and diseases both originate from ignorance.
