三、「不善」下，明假觀。前不善思惟，即過去二支。今不善思惟，即現在三支。經心行者，即上思惟也。斯乃舉病必對於藥，假觀彰矣。

Third, from "unwholesome" onward, clarifying the contemplation of provisionality. The preceding unwholesome reflection is the two past links. The present unwholesome reflection is the three present links. "Experiencing mental activity" is the reflection above. This is bringing up the illness which must correspond to the medicine; the contemplation of provisionality is thereby made manifest.
