二、為鈍人更說，二：初、特示空觀；二、別指假中。良以初心於假名實法、起見愛增強、障道事重，是故大師特陳空觀，不說假中。此同釋題觀解三道，三道正觀舉名而已。但於假實三毒六作，委破四性、頻示二空。蓋為始行我見彌隆，故示真空以為要術。

Second, further explaining for dull-witted persons, which has two parts: first, specifically showing the contemplation of emptiness; second, separately pointing to provisionality and the middle. Truly, because beginners develop strong views and attachments toward provisional names and actual phenomena, severely obstructing the path, the Great Master specifically sets forth the contemplation of emptiness and does not speak of provisionality and the middle. This is the same as the contemplation and interpretation of the three paths when explaining the title, where the correct contemplation of the three paths merely mentions the names. Only with regard to the provisional and actual, the three poisons, and the six actions does he exhaustively refute the four natures and repeatedly show the twofold emptiness. Because for beginning practitioners the view of self is exceedingly strong, he shows true emptiness as the essential technique.
