初、推人。「若假名」下，對於實法推無四性。「今之」下，四性被推，執情稍薄，但謂有名，還須四性檢今叵得。所召之人既無生相，能召名字四性亦忘。略示人空，其觀如是。

First, investigating the person. From "If the provisional name" onward, investigating the absence of the four natures with respect to actual phenomena. From "Now" onward: when the four natures have been investigated, the grasping sentiment becomes somewhat thinner, and one merely claims that the name exists; one must still use the four natures to examine it, and now it cannot be found. Since the person referred to has no characteristic of arising, the four natures of the name that refers to him are also forgotten. Briefly showing the emptiness of persons, its contemplation is like this.
