二、「吹大」下，明化他成，二：初、分文立意，二：初、分文。二、「餘經」下，立意，二：初、明智定相成。前現通者，令重法樂聞；後現通者，令依法修證。故前云開後，後云成前。

Second, from 'Blowing the great' downward, explaining the accomplishment of transforming others, in two parts. First, dividing the text and establishing the intent, in two parts: first, dividing the text. Second, from 'Other sūtras' downward, establishing the intent, in two parts: first, explaining that wisdom and concentration complement each other. The earlier manifestation of supernormal powers caused [them] to value the Dharma and delight in hearing it; the later manifestation of supernormal powers causes [them] to cultivate and realize in reliance on the Dharma. Therefore, the earlier was said to 'open the later,' and the later is said to 'accomplish the earlier.'
