初一句空觀。了達虛無者，悉從因緣，無性實故虛、離名相故無，畢竟叵得方名了法。

First, the single phrase on the contemplation of emptiness. "Thoroughly understanding emptiness and non-existence" means that all dharmas arise from causes and conditions: because they lack an intrinsic nature that is real, they are empty; because they are free from names and marks, they are non-existent. Only when they are ultimately unobtainable is one said to thoroughly understand dharmas.
