Third, from "The beginning of the verses..." onward, concluding praise, with two [parts]: first, directly explaining the sūtra text, with two [parts]: first, explaining the text. Concluding with the Buddha-moon as the three bodies: the current text has only the empty space and the water-moon; adding the celestial moon, they can serve as metaphors for the three bodies. Stating that the Buddha's transformations are four bodies: wondrous form of the Dharma body serves as the transformed Dharma; the reward and response bodies, illuminating principle and discerning capacity, serve as the masters of transformation; and accommodating conditions to manifest bodies in the nine realms serves as the transformed events. Now, because transformed events reveal the possession of the above three, four bodies are discussed. That all possess three or four means: taking up any one body, it is instantly three and instantly four; each and every one is like this, and only then is it called unhindered.
