二、「爾時」下，大王求覓，二：初、慰諭其妃。二、「大王」下，求覓其子，二：「先所」下，頌知終後悲苦，三：初、使者迴白，二：初、前使慰王。二、「須臾」下，後使告實。二、「是時」下，大王悶絕。三、「復有」下，王迎二子，三：初、臣述失志。二、「是時」下，王並思惟。一亡二存對並思忖，亡者叵尋、存者宜取。三、「爾時」下，迎子慰母。

Second, from "At that time..." onward, the great king searches [for him], in two [parts]: first, consoling his queen; second, from "The great king..." onward, searching for his son, in two: from "That which previously..." onward, it versifies the sorrow and anguish after learning of his death, in three: first, the messengers return and report, in two: first, the first messenger consoles the king; second, from "In an instant..." onward, the later messenger announces the truth; second, from "At that time..." onward, the great king collapses unconscious; third, from "There were further..." onward, the king welcomes his two sons, in three: first, the ministers recount the loss of senses; second, from "At that time..." onward, the king contemplates both together: juxtaposing the one deceased and the two living, he reflects: the deceased cannot be sought, while the living should be received; third, from "At that time..." onward, he welcomes the sons and consoles their mother.
