三、釋文，二：初、標科。二、釋義，二：初、經家敘。疏文可見。經云「從此至金寶蓋國」者，欲張大其眾，滿中菩薩皆讚釋迦教主也。比見有人不曉斯旨，謂讚彼佛。經疏非闇，一何昧哉？或恐後學隨他所解、謬釋經文，今略引疏示之。原乎〈讚品〉之來者，蓋三番菩薩並由上聞經得利，故讚佛及教，豈關他佛？況疏云「一佛是能讚」，若謂讚彼佛者，能讚一佛何指釋迦定起耶？經疏冷然，故不繁引。

Third, explaining the text, in two [parts]: first, marking the outline; second, explaining the meaning, in two [parts]: first, the sūtra compiler's narration, as seen in the commentary text. When the sūtra says, "From this [place] up to the Land of Golden Jeweled Canopies," it aims to expand their assembly so that the bodhisattvas filling it all praise the teaching master Śākyamuni. Recently, I have seen people who do not understand this purport, claiming that they praise that [other] Buddha. The sūtra and commentary are not obscure; why be so blind? Lest later students follow another's explanation and erroneously interpret the sūtra text, I now briefly cite the commentary to demonstrate it. Tracing the origin of the appearance of the "Praise Chapter": the three groups of bodhisattvas all obtained benefits from hearing the sūtra above, and thus praise the Buddha and the teaching—how could it pertain to another Buddha? Furthermore, the commentary states, "the single Buddha is the praiser"; if one claims that they praise that Buddha, how could the single Buddha who is the praiser refer to Śākyamuni rising from samādhi? The sūtra and commentary are crystal clear, so I need not quote extensively.
